Atom Agent ("we", "us", or "our") operates the atomagent.io website and the Atom Agent platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via third-party OAuth providers (such as GitHub or Microsoft). We do not store your passwords.
Integration Data: When you connect third-party services (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Trello), we access project metadata such as work items, repository names, and branch information. We access only the data necessary to perform the tasks you request.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and device information. This data helps us improve the product.
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process and complete tasks you assign to the agent; authenticate your identity and manage your account; communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support; comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
When the Atom Agent performs tasks, it accesses your code repositories to read source code, create branches, commit changes, and open pull requests. We do not store your source code beyond what is needed for active task execution. Code data is processed in memory and discarded after the task is complete.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email); third-party integrations you explicitly authorize (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, Trello); law enforcement or legal processes when required by law. All third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest for stored data, OAuth 2.0 for third-party authentication, and regular security assessments. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Task execution data (code, branches, commits) is processed transiently and not retained after completion. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at adam@atomagent.io.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access and receive a copy of your personal data; rectify inaccurate personal data; request deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing of your data; data portability; withdraw consent at any time.
